Canvas will focus development energy on New Quizzes and will not be adding any new features to Classic Quizzes. Canvas will continue to fix critical bugs and maintain the product.
Eventually, Canvas will annonce a sunset date for Classic Quizzes which means they will no longer be available to use.
The resources on this page are intended to help instructors become more familiar with New Quizzes in Canvas and help minimize issues transitioning.
In a nutshell, Canvas will eventually phase out Classic Quizzes so, you should try to use New Quizzes to the extent it is possible to do so.
