Posts are informational messages; these are not for emergencies. Recipients will receive them via email and/or app, depending on their preferences.


  1. From “Home” click “Posts” in the upper left
  2. Click “New Post”
  3. When the posting window appears, you must fill the following:
    1. To - these are the groups (classes; club; sport team) you can send posts to (typically groups you own/manage). Note: you cannot send to individuals
    2. Post as - by default it will post as you
    3. Who should see this - by default it is Parents, Students and Staff. NOTE: Out-of-District advisors/coaches are registered as guests. "Guests" MUST BE SELECTED in order for them to receive the message
    4. Subject of Post
    5. Description - this is the actual message you wish send
    6. Notification Options:
      1. Send at User preferred time - this is the default ParentSquare sends as and best to respect recipients requests
      2. Send instantly - use sparingly to avoid being considered spam
      3. Do not notify
  4. Once the post is prepared, you can preview, save, post, or schedule to post

    1. Preview - in the notification options, click the Preview button to see what the post will look like.
    2. To save or schedule a post:
      1. Click on the down arrow of the Post Now button
      2. Select your option
      3. Follow prompts as appropriate
    3. To post - click “Post Now” in the notification options.
