Posts on ParentSquare are an incredibly effective way of sharing information with the entire school or district community. However, teachers and coaches often need to communicate more directly with their classes and teams, including sending real-time updates, shorter notes, and messages inviting or requiring a response.


  1. From Home, select Messages on the left.
  2. Click New Message and select Direct Message or Group Conversation.

  3. Use the Recipients box to search individual users or click Add by Quick Select. With the Quick Select option, you can select members of classes you teach, groups you own, or entire groups or classes you can access.

  4. Select Classes or Groups on the left, who you want to add, and then select one or more classes or groups. Click Add recipients.

    Classes:

    Groups:
    dm quick select group
    • You can continue to add other groups, classes or people.

      dm add individual user
    • Type your Message and click Send.
