By default, downloading a file in Chrome goes to your downloads folder on your computer. You can change this to ask Chrome where to download files. To do so, follow these steps:
1. In Chrome, click the three-dots in the top right of your screen
2. Select Settings
3. On the left, select Downloads
4. Toggle on "ask where to save each file before downloading"
Now when you download files in Chrome, a pop-up screen will show and give you the option where to save files on your computer.
